Regular Season Play

The regular season is the core of Stateline Youth Athletics. All of the other programs we offer — Training and Post Season — serve to supplement and enhance regular season play.

T-Ball, Coach Pitch I, and Coach Pitch II

For our youngest divisions, T-Ball (ages 4-5), Coach Pitch I (ages 5-6), and Coach Pitch II (ages 7-8), the Regular Season begins in early June. Coaches receive their rosters from their Division Director,  and start practice as soon as they can get everyone together. Teams practice twice a week.  Practices last 60 to 90 minutes, as determined by the team's head coach.

Opening Day is in early May. Each team plays two games a week. T-Ball, Coach Pitch I, and Coach Pitch II teams play 12-14 games over a six to seven week period, ending their season at the end of July.

Mustang, Bronco, Pony, Pigtail, Feather, and Galaxy

The Skills Assessment is held in early March and is intended for all players in these divisions. Coaches select their teams in a player draft in early to mid March, and can start practices in late March or early April. Teams practice twice a week. Practices may last 90 to 120 minutes, at the discretion of the team's head coach.

Opening Day is in early May. Mustang, Bronco, Pony, Pigtail, Feather, and Galaxy teams play two games per week.  Once games begin, teams may continue to practice at the coach's discretion.

Mustang, Bronco, Pony, Pigtail, Feather, and Galaxy teams will participate in post season tournaments.  Representatives from each team are selected to participate in local All-Star games.

Mustang, Bronco, and Pony players are eligible for selection to post season “All Star” teams that play in tournaments after the Regular Season. See the Post Season Programs page for more information.

Colt and Delta

Colt and Delta divisions (ages 15-16) are intended for the most competitive high school players who want to keep playing after the high school season ends.

Colt and Delta players are eligible for selection to post season “All Star” teams that play in tournaments after the Regular Season. See the Post Season Programs page for more information.
